Sesame bread sticks
Life's flourless, low-carb sesame breadsticks are an excellent option for satisfying a craving for a crunchy snack without overdoing the carbs: the sesame seeds add an aromatic, slightly nutty flavour that enriches the product's variety of flavours. Unlike ordinary breadsticks, which are often high in carbohydrates and low in fibre and protein, Life breadsticks are a more complete and nutritionally balanced alternative. In fact, thanks to the significant reduction in carbohydrates (only 4g per portion), we have been able to significantly increase the amount of fibre (30%) and protein (38%), making them more nutritionally complete and optimal not only for those following a low-carb or keto diet, but also for athletes who want to maximise muscle protein synthesis. Crumbly and tasty, they make a delicious snack to nibble on at any time of day. They can be eaten as a snack or as an accompaniment to a meal or aperitif: add a gourmet touch by wrapping them in prosciutto!
When should sesame breadsticks be used?
- As an accompaniment to meals: they can be combined with dishes such as soups, salads or meat dishes to add a crunchy note and a touch of flavour to your meal, without overloading you with carbohydrates;
- As an aperitif: they can be served with cheese, cold meats or sauces.
- Complementary meal: they can be used to cover the protein requirements of one of the 3 main meals;
- Meal replacement: in combination with Milk Life Sport (see product), they can be a nutritious alternative for a quick meal out;
- Before or after training: perfect as a pre- or post-training snack, to maintain energy during physical activity and aid muscle recovery later on;

Low in carbohydrates
This is a low-carbohydrate food line, designed to boost a metabolism accustomed to a diet rich in sugars and starches.
Our products may have less impact on blood sugar levels than similar carbohydrate-rich products commonly found in supermarkets. This is why they help to limit sudden variations in blood sugar levels and the ensuing feeling of hunger, factors normally induced by traditional sugar- and flour-based products.
When carbohydrates are restricted, the body begins to burn fat for energy, which can lead to an improvement in body weight, a greater feeling of satiety and can help to improve energy levels and concentration.

The result is an increase in intestinal transit, i.e. the time taken for food to pass through the digestive system, which encourages regular evacuation of stools. This reduces the residence time of harmful substances in the faecal masses, which are often responsible for dysbiosis or inflammation.
High satiating power is conferred by the fact that the fibre inside swells in the digestive tract and takes up space in the stomach, increasing the feeling of satiety and reducing hunger: this means you can consume fewer calories without feeling the need to eat more!
